Description

Adding a Toyota E-Locker to a non-E-Locker Tacoma or 4Runner is one of the best modifications that can be done in terms of off-road performance. One way to accomplish this conversion is to swap the open differential axle housing out for one with an E-Locker installed. However it is also possible to modify the existing axle housing to accept an E-Locker equipped third member. This retrofit requires cutting a square-shaped hole for the actuator motor as well as drilling and tapping four new stud holes for the third-member.  Sometimes it can be hard to find the correct tap and drill for this job. We decided to make it easier by offering you the parts we have used successfully ourselves.
